Welcome to the launch of the new TheActrix Studio monthly newsletter.  I'll be sending monthly updates on the 11th, cause I like elevens!

In these monthly check-ins, I'll be posting highlights from the previous month or quarter, as well as upcoming opportunities for auditions, workshops, playshops, camps, retreats, productions and 1:1 coaching for youth and adults.

TheActrix Studio LLC Launches Jan 01, 2024!

What is TheActrix Studio?  The name began as a play on the word 
Theatrics and inspired by The Actors Studio.  But that name was taken and what we offer to youth and family goes beyond actor training, and extends to personal and professional development for the whole family, and the larger community. The word "Actrix" is the archaic spelling of "Actress" or "Actresses". 

"TheActrix" are Doers.  We are Teachers. We are producers, directors, actors, choreographers, stage managers, designers, managers, counselors, coaches, healers....you get the drift!

On Feb 14th, 2024, TheActrix Studio produced "The Vagina Monologues" as a fundraiser for SRSASS at the WNMU Fine Arts Center Theater.  It was very well received and TheActrix were great!

Our amazing teachers that brilliantly led the Spring Break Drama Camps: Ana Trinidad and Hallie Harris.... We are so lucky to have excellent actor/teachers right here in our sweet mountain town!

Coming Soon: "Frankenstein" by Alexander Attea, directed by TheActrix Studio/Aldo Leopold Student Intern Siobhan Pyper to play at WNMU Fine Arts Center Theater on April 26-28. Doors open at 6:30 for a 7:00pm show time. Tickets will be available online soon, and at the door.

"Ditchspeare", or "Shakespeare in the Ditch" will be directed by Hallie Harris May 13-20.  Some our our Shakespeare Camp students, as well as our more seasoned performing artists will be doing some pop up presentations in the Big Ditch Park.  More details to come!  

May 24-26 TheActrix presents "Shaking the Tree", a celebration of performing arts bringing together our favorite scenes, monologues, music, songs, and dances from the 2023/2024 school year!  Ana's Acting Technique and Scene Study class will perform, as well as Hallie's Improv troupe, and selected scenes and monologues from recent camps, concerts and productions.

We are planning to offer a Film and Media Literacy Camp at the Silco Theater.
